Since the posting of this in 2012, Gabrielle Aplin re-recorded Home for her new album English Rain. She also re-shot the video for the song which I've posted below.
I can't decide which one I like best. The production value is obviously better in the new video, and it shows just how much she has advanced in her music. However, I still prefer the old recording of the song and the old video complements the tender, intimate quality of the song itself. On the other hand, as an "immigrant" in foreign America, I can relate so much to being lost in American vastness which is the premise of the new video.
It's up to you guys. Which is better?
